Position Overview:
We are looking for a quality assurance professional that is interested in applying their skills to Nuclear Medicine technology as an Automation Test Engineer. The position includes creating and executing automated testing of desktop applications. It involves reviewing software requirements, constructing automated test plans and cases, tracing requirements, implementing and executing scripts, and recording results.
Principal Responsibility:
AUTOMATED TESTING
- Design, Create and implement test cases within an automated framework such as SmartBear’s TestComplete and/or Inflectra Rapise.
- Integrate and execute automated tests within Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- Identify strong candidates for automation testing among existing and new requirements.
- Design and implement robust, scalable automation solutions in line with project needs.
- Ensure automation is aligned with CI/CD and overall product quality goals
SOFTWARE QA
- Review and provide feedback on software requirements (SRS) to ensure clarity, testability, and completeness.
- Maintain traceability between requirements and test cases to ensure coverage.
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute functional, regression, and performance test cases.
- Document and report defects, test execution results, and coverage metrics.
- Analyze complex features and systems to create risk-based test strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product specialists, developers, and research teams to ensure quality standards and ensure efficient test coverage.
Qualifications Required
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Skills, Training & Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in automated testing (writing and executing test cases).
- Proficient with Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Hands-on experience with desktop application automation
- Familiarity with automation scripting languages (JavaScript, C++, or C#)
- Awareness of medical imaging domain and / or Clinical Workflow knowledge is desirable.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing practices, and processes.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) including Scrum/Agile methodologies.
- Understanding of common information architecture.
- Experience with organizing and managing numerous computer files and datasets for use by others.
- Experience with VM Ware, Citrix XenApps, and other virtualized testing environments.
- Proficient operating knowledge of computers and computer networks.
- Proficient in Microsoft office environment, including Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
- Ability to work as a team player and handle dynamic workload.
- Ability to easily identify and solve problems .
