Description:
This study evaluates radiotracer distribution in the normal myocardium of males and females using a new solid-state SPECT imaging system with ultra-low dose CT-based attenuation correction (AC), finding differences in distribution with and without correction.

Clinical Relevance:
The findings indicate that hybrid CT attenuation correction can minimize gender-based variability in myocardial perfusion patterns, supporting more accurate and equitable MPI interpretation. Incorporating hybrid CT into solid-state SPECT imaging may enhance diagnostic confidence and reduce false findings linked to attenuation artifacts.
